Plenty O’Fish...

“Plenty of Fish dot com” My friend exclaimed with a chuckle. I replied, “What?” She restated, “Online dating...”

I have been encouraged by about three friends now to try online dating, because I am single. At times I have wondered whats wrong with me that only arrogant jerks and culturally insensitive men or unmotivated fools seem to want me...but online dating has never crossed my mind. I told one of my friends, “I would hope that I have enough attractive man friends... So, if I get to the point of being desperately single...I might be able to call and ask for a favor, like night of shameless cuddling, a mad make out session, or even a date”

My friend continued to tell me that her extremely cute “player” friend said, “Is it wrong that I made an online dating profile and am going to go out with the desperate women that are hoping to find their match, just sleep with them and leave them? I mean, that’s uncharted territory for me!”
The above statement right there made me certain that I will never try an online dating site. I don’t want some “player” man preying on my hopes to find my “perfect match.” I will instead adopt a dog and a cat, naming them Silver and Bullet.

Call me old-fashioned and vegan, but I’m not too fond of fish and love seeing men (initially) in 3D without having to wear any special glasses!
